Here it is! Nicole Kidman exposes her budding baby bump

Bump watch: Nicole Kidman flashed her growing bump during a training session in LA yesterday

Training day: Nicole adjusted her top as she consulted her fitness instructor

Time out: Nicole has stepped away from the Hollywood spotlight to focus on her pregnancy

For months it's been rather difficult to spot, but yesterday Nicole Kidman showed off her baby bump in all its glory.

The Hollywood actress, who is now five months pregnant with her first biological child, flashed her growing stomach during a workout with her personal trainer in LA yesterday.

The fitness sessions have become routine for the 40-year-old expectant mother, who was again wearing her trademark work-out outfit.

Last weekend she was spotted leaving Revolution Fitness in Los Angeles in a sweat after attending a spinning class at the centre.

She was again accompanied by her personal trainer and kept motivated by a soundtrack that included songs by Mary J. Blige, Bon Jovi, Culture Club and even a number by her husband Keith Urban.

The star, who suffered two miscarriages during her marriage to Tom Cruise, is taking time away from the Hollywood spotlight to enjoy her pregnant status.

She dropped out of her leading role in the Second World War drama The Reader after discovering she was carrying a child and was later replaced by Kate Winslet.

Still, as UN Goodwill Ambassador she has made time for charity work, and has just lent her support to the Say No To Violence Against Women campaign.

Kidman, who has two adopted children, Isabella, 15, and Connor, 12 with Cruise, said in a statement yesterday:

"One in three women may suffer from abuse and violence in her lifetime. This is an appalling human rights violation."

Other celebrities who have signed up include Hilary Swank, Sir Bob Geldof, Catherine Deneuve and Christopher Lee. 15:15pm on 11.03.08

Gauri Khan, Vogue's cover girl

Shah Rukh Khan has every reason to preen. No, it doesn't have anything to do with his six packs. Rather, it's his wife Gauri Khan who is the center of attention.

The mother of two has been chosen as the cover girl of Vogue India for its January edition.

The pictures were shot against the eight-floor extension of the Khans' sprawling home, Mannat.

'This is not my profession,' Gauri said. 'It has to be something really new and unusual to make me want to do something like this. I did enjoy the shoot but to be honest, I wouldn't do it very often."

"This collaboration between Gauri and Vogue India is a natural fit," says Priya Tanna, Editor Vogue India. "It is her first solo cover and a coup of sorts for Vogue. That she is stylish, enigmatic, and poised is known, but at the shoot we saw another side of her, that of a cover girl. Even in the frames she shares with Shah Rukh [Images], she holds her own impressively. She offers delightful peeks into her life, her wardrobe and her man. Gauri is a true Voguette."

The issue will hit newsstands on December 20

Andy Lau's Rumored Girlfriend Carol Chu Spotted at His Concert

Andy Lau’s marital status is back in the news, with a report saying Carol Chu (Zhu Liqian), the Malaysian woman he is linked to, appeared at his concert last Saturday.

Next Magazine snapped pictures of Chu, in a non-VIP seat, looking plump, with signs of a double chin and wearing a pony tail and spectacles.

Chu, 41, initially ignored the paparazzi who snapped her picture but left the concert early. Lau’s relationship with Chu, a former Malaysian beauty queen, has been a mystery for 23 years.

The singer has long denied they were married and that they had a child after Chu was seen with a little girl in 2001.

Last Saturday, at the post-concert party, the reputedly hardworking Lau, 46, said he would take a nine-month break from work and go to Beijing to watch the Olympics.

Next Magazine linked this to Chu’s chubbiness and her 2006 reported trip to a Malaysian temple to pray for a son, and queried if she was pregnant.

But a spokesman for Lau has claimed that the actor would rest for only two months.

Last year, Lau told reporters:

“If I want a child, I will try to marry quickly. Perhaps I might suddenly have a girlfriend after two or three years and announce my marriage.”
